Death of the Ego (2020) focuses on the theme of surrender. The figure’s body posture is limber and fragile, giving off the idea of complete surrender. The brown colors reflect those of dead plants while also reflecting new soil which is what is needed for new plants to grow. This piece talks about letting go of the past in order to birth something new.
