Love is not attached to a specific person but instead is a collection of experiences. When I realized that, heartbreak didn’t make me feel so broken anymore. Each lover is like a flower, it grows and it blooms and when it reaches its fullest potential, it begins to wither away. But the roots, the memories, remain engrained in your heart forever. What if the purpose was to see how many times you could fall in love in this lifetime? Or how deep? While still believing that love continues to exist.
